Maria Hajioannou

As ESG executive of Alassia NewShips Management Inc, a private dry bulk company, Maria spearheads all of the company’s ESG activities, a role which involves close collaboration with all departments, from Technical and HSQE to Crew and HR. She has a BSc in Insurance and Investments from City University and an MSc in Maritime Business from Solent University. Maria is also a Μember of the Board of Directors of HELMEPA, and in this capacity she oversees the working group responsible for developing the educational content of the ESG Masterclass by HELMEPA Academy.
