Vicky Roussou

Vicky Roussou is the Director and CFO of J G ROUSSOS SHIPPING S A , which manages and operate s modern Supramax and Handy size bulk carriers. She has been working for the family company for the last 26 years , during which period she has been involved in various sectors, focusing on accounting, finance, and business development . Vicky and her brother George represent the 3rd generation in succession in the family shipping business.

She is an active member of the shipping community and has a great network of contacts in the shipping field. She is very willing to work on any project of common interest.

She has been a member of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association since 2000. She was elected President of WISTA Hellas in April 2004 for a period of two years ( 2004-2006 ), and she has worked hard for the achievement of the goals of the Association. She has been a member of the Auditing Committee of WISTA Hellas from 2004 to 2017.

She has been a Lifetime member of the Propeller Club Port of Piraeus since 2022 .

Vicky holds a BSc in Business Administration and Accounting from the National University of Athens, Greece, an MSc in International Transport and Trade, and a Diploma in Commercial Operation of Shipping from London Guildhall University, UK . She is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) and a founding member of the Association in Greece.

She speaks Greek (native), English and French.

Moreover, Vicky is also involved in the real estate business and is a shareholder in the SGF Cotton Fine group of companies, which is active in producing, trading, and supplying textile products.

She’s married and is proud to have 2 lovely young daughters of age 14 and 12.
