AMVER Awards Lunch

On December 16th, at the Yacht Club of Greece, the Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus hosted the AMVER Luncheon, held on the occasion of this year’s AMVER Awards.

The luncheon brought together Greek shipping executives with senior representatives of the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, and officials from the U.S. Embassy in Athens, offering a valuable opportunity for dialogue and exchange of views ahead of the AMVER Awards Gala.

We were honored to welcome our distinguished guests and speakers: Rear Admiral David E. Ludwa, Director, Maritime Headquarters (DMHQ), U.S. Naval Forces Europe–Africa, and Captain Mark J. Neeland, Commanding Officer, U.S. Coast Guard Activities Europe.

The AMVER Luncheon has become one of the Propeller Club’s most valued traditions — reinforcing the strong and longstanding cooperation between Greek shipping, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the United States.
