AMVER Awards Ceremony

The 33rd AMVER Greek Awards Ceremony took place on December 16th, 2025, at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel, under the theme “Hope at Sea”, and brought together 900 guests, including senior figures from shipping, government, and the armed forces.

Organized by our Club, in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Greece and the U.S. Coast Guard, the ceremony honored 193 Greek shipping companies and 1,836 vessels for their participation in the AMVER program, marking also a milestone year as the Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus celebrated 90 years of history and service to the maritime community.

The evening included the presentation of the Fidelity Awards for the top-performing companies over the past decade, recognition of the Top 10 companies with the largest fleet participation in 2025, and the Rescue Awards for vessels involved in 12 rescue operations, saving 97 lives at sea.

Addresses were delivered by our President Costis Frangoulis, U.S. Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle, Rear Admiral David Ludwa (U.S. Navy) and Captain Mark Neeland (U.S.C.G.).

An evening of unity, recognition and purpose, honoring those who keep hope alive at sea.
