Our Ocean Conference

On the occasion of the 9th “Our Ocean Conference”, the Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus, announced a Pledge to provide support to a Greek student aspiring to pursue a Master’s degree at a University in Greece or abroad, in the disciplines of Water Resources Management, Marine Environment, Marine Environmental Protection, Marine Ecology, Marine Environmental Management, and Marine Conservation.

This commitment aims to provide support to 10 students, granting €10,000 for fees and/or subsistence over the next 10 years, benefiting one student each year.

President Costis Frangoulis stated: “We are proud to announce our Pledge of €100,000, as part of our commitment towards education and ocean science, aiming at cleaner seas”.
