Posidonia 2022 – 3rd Trading in U.S. Waters Seminar

As part of Posidonia 2022, our Club, in collaboration with the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce and the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA), participated in the “3rd Trading Seminar in US Waters: Towards a Decarbonized Maritime Sector by 2050,” a very interesting forum on the critical challenges facing shipping today and strategies for complying with key environmental regulations. Our President, Mr Frangoulis, gave an opening speech in which he recalled the main events affecting the planet, the pandemic and the war between Russia and Ukraine. A war that has led to a serious humanitarian energy crisis. He also stressed that the shipping industry faces very significant challenges on the way to significantly reduce carbon emissions.
