Panagiotis Nomikos

I am Dr. Panos Nomikos, Head of Business Development at Danaos Maritime I.T. Group, with 35 years of experience in the maritime industry. Throughout my career I have worked closely with shipowners, managers and service providers across the world, building strong relationships and a broad network that I would be happy to bring more actively into the Propeller Club community.
I believe in the power of volunteering, collaboration and knowledge-sharing. As one of the Founders and first President of AMMITEC, I helped create a lasting industry platform that unites maritime ICT professionals and promotes dialogue and innovation. I have also been actively involved in several volunteer initiatives such as YES Forum, Mentoria, EKO Naftilias, Adopt-a-Ship, and Allilonnet, supporting youth development, mentoring and maritime outreach.
If elected as a Governor, I will focus on strengthening engagement, expanding participation of younger professionals, and further enhancing the Club’s role as a vibrant hub connecting shipping and society.
