50 years of successful cooperation between the Greek Shipowners and the S. Korean Shipyards

On the occasion of the completion of 50 years of successful cooperation between the Greek Shipowners and the S. Korean Shipyards, our Club had the pleasure of hosting an event on Monday, November 28th, at the Piraeus Marine Club, in the presence of His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Jung Il Lee. Welcome addresses were delivered by our President, Costis Frangoulis and Ambassador Lee. The two key Speakers were Stavros Hatzigrigoris, Technical Director of Zodiac Maritime, and George Foustanos, Maritime Historian and Author, who also presented his new book: ” Made in South Korea – Fifty Years of Greek Shipbuilding Activity in the Land of the Morning Calm”.
