Visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate

It was a true honor for our Club’s delegation to visit the Ecumenical Patriarchate at the Phanar in Constantinople on Saturday morning, February 7th. A place of great significance for Orthodoxy and Hellenism.

Representing the Piraeus Propeller Club were our President, Costis Frangoulis, First Vice President Danae Bezantakou, Secretary General Christos Timagenis, and Governors Dorothea Ioannou and Katerina Stathopoulou.

The delegation was warmly welcomed and had the privilege of receiving the blessing of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. It was a meaningful and symbolic moment for our Club – one that will serve as a source of strength and inspiration for our work and initiatives in the year ahead.

Following the meeting, we were given a tour of the Patriarchate and visited the Patriarchal Church of St. George for a moment of reflection and prayer. We express our sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and the honor of this visit.
