AMVER Awards Lunch

The longstanding tradition of the business luncheon on the day of the AMVER Awards ceremony in Greece was, once again this year, a great opportunity for representatives of the Greek Shipping community, the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Embassy to meet, exchange ideas and share experiences.

As a host, our President Costis Frangoulis, welcomed the guests to this special event, marking the 30th anniversary of the Greek AMVER Awards, the most important Awards ceremony for Greek Shipping. U.S. Coast Guard Rear Admiral Laura M. Dickey was the special guest of the luncheon and executives of the Greek shipping industry as well as Governors of the Propeller Club of Piraeus had the opportunity to discuss with her issues regarding the AMVER Program, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Hellenic-American collaboration.
