Student Port Gathering

Our Student Port gathering took place on Monday 19 December at the Piraeus Marine Club. A compelling presentation was delivered by our honorary member, marketing guru and brand strategist, Peter Economides, who spoke about the significance of the Greek Shipping – the past, the present and the future.

He asked the young shipping professionals and students assembled in the room to imagine the future of Greek Shipping – its potential and if it assumes its rightful position in the hearts and minds of Greeks and the world. “Greece, he said, is truly a shipping superpower.” An interesting dialogue and Q&A session followed.
