Costis Frangoulis — The First Non-American President of the International Propeller Club

Our President, Costis Frangoulis, takes the helm of the International Propeller Club, making history as the first non-American President in the organization’s 98-year legacy. His election took place during the 98th International Convention, held in Lyon, France (13–15 October 2025), which gathered members and representatives from across the global maritime community.

Adding to this historic moment, our Club was named Club of the Year, an honor that reflects our steady growth and strong social impact.

Warm congratulations also to our Governor Dorothea Ioannou, on her election as First Vice President, to our General Secretary Christos Timagenis on his appointment as Director Ex Officio to the International Board, and to our Regional Vice President Akis Tsirigakis on his re-election.

These outstanding distinctions bring pride not only to our Club but also to the wider Greek shipping community.
