Dinner in Honor of our Donors

Our Annual Donors’ Dinner was held with great success on Wednesday, October 29th, at the Grand Hyatt Athens, bringing together over 250 guests, donors, members, and friends of our Club.

The evening’s keynote speaker, Panos Xenokostas, Founder and President of the ONEX Group, shared his insights on the revival of Greece’s shipbuilding industry, the strategic partnership with the DFC, and the importance of the green transition, education, and empowering the next generation.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from our General Secretary, Christos Timagenis, followed by a speech from our President, Costis Frangoulis, who reflected on the remarkable growth and global recognition of the Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus, and on the expanding social impact of its initiatives in recent years.

Warm congratulations also to our Governor Dorothea Ioannou, on her election as First Vice President, to our Gene

ral Secretary Christos Timagenis on his appointment as Director Ex Officio to the International Board, and to our Regional Vice President Akis Tsirigakis on his re-election.

These outstanding distinctions bring pride not only to our Club but also to the wider Greek shipping community.
