George Margaronis

George Margaronis has 32 years of hands on shipping experience. He began his career in 1989 with H. Clarkson & Co. Ltd. in London as a dry cargo broker. Three years later he moved to Greece where he worked for a number of shipping companies as Chartering, Commercial & Operations Manager.
In 2002 just over ten years after leaving Clarksons he joined the company again to set up and head their Athens operation as the Managing Director of Clarkson Hellas Ltd.
In 2014 he joined Latsco Shipping Limited as the Chief Executive Officer. He was born and educated in the UK and holds a degree in Economics from Essex University and a post graduate degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School.
