Inauguration of the Propeller Club, Port of Oslo

On June 4th, during Nor-Shipping 2025, the International Propeller Club officially welcomed its newest chapter – the Propeller Club of Norway, Port of Oslo.

Costis Frangoulis, in his role as 1st VP of the International Propeller Club, delivered a keynote address and formally presented the Club’s Charter, the President’s pin and a gift from our Club to Sinem Ogis, President of the new chapter.

In his remarks, he emphasized the strategic role that the new Oslo chapter can play in promoting industry collaboration and strengthening U.S.–Norway maritime relations, and underlined the broader mission of the Propeller Organization to connect professionals, advocate for the Shipping industry, and contribute positively to society.

He also extended his thanks to the U.S. Embassy in Norway for its support throughout the founding process of the new branch, and expressed his confidence that the Norwegian chapter will become a prominent and influential member of the international Propeller network.

Our President was accompanied by Governor Dorothea Ioannou 2nd VP of the International Propeller and Admiral Joel Whitehead, Executive VP. Congratulations to President Ogis and her Board.
