New Year Reception 2024
The Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus held its annual event to welcome the new year, with the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita, on Wednesday January 17th, in the Grand Ballroom of the Grande Bretagne Hotel, along with 400 guests.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of His Beatitude Hieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, who blessed the Vasilopita.
A total of 14 raffle prizes were drawn for the lucky guests, while the lucky coin was won by Club Member Dimitris Mitrou.
Once again, this year, talented students from Pierce and Deree College beautifully enhanced the atmosphere of the evening with their joyful and lively performances of traditional Greek dances and songs.
