New Year Reception 2026

In a warm, festive atmosphere, we held our New Year’s event on Sunday, February 1st, at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, in the presence of Members and distinguished guests. Our vasilopita was blessed and cut by His Grace Bishop Varnabas of Christoupolis.

Welcome addresses were delivered by our President, Costis Frangoulis, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, George Alexandratos, and U.S. Ambassador to Greece and our Honorary President, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Traditional Greek dances and a musical performance by students from Pierce College and Deree set the tone, followed by raffle prizes and a cocktail. The lucky coin was won by Apostolia Sdougkou.
