20 Jul Visit to the Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr. Stefanos Gkikas.

On Monday, 20 July 2026, the Executive Committee of the Propeller Club visited the Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr. Stefanos Gkikas.

During the meeting, the Club’s President, Danae Bezantakou, 1st Vice President Christos Timagenis, 2nd Vice President Dorothea Ioannou, Secretary General Theofilos Xenakoudis, and Treasurer Panos Zafet presented the vision and priorities of the new term, as well as the Club’s upcoming plans, initiatives, and activities, aiming to further strengthen its presence within the maritime community and foster new partnerships with institutional organisations.

Particular emphasis was placed on the Club’s upcoming activities, educational and social initiatives, as well as the events scheduled for the coming period. In addition, discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities shaping the maritime sector, as well as the importance of continuous cooperation between the State and the maritime community.

The meeting was held in a particularly positive and constructive atmosphere, reaffirming the shared commitment to maintaining an open and meaningful dialogue with the aim of strengthening extroversion, cooperation, and collaboration across the maritime sector. The Deputy Minister congratulated the new Executive Committee on assuming its duties and wished its members every success in their work.
