AMVER Awards Ceremony 2009

Once again, this year’s AMVER Awards Dinner was hosted by the International Propeller Club of the United States, International Port of Piraeus in cooperation with the American Embassy and the United States Coast Guard on October 22, 2009, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel.

The event was honored by the presence of 650 members of the maritime community, where 117 Greek shipping companies received 862 awards on behalf of the AMVER rescue program.
